E-Discovery is part of our Litigation and Internal Investigation Team, which manages complex commercial litigation and significant disputes, significant compliance incidents and complex employment litigation.

The E-Discovery team applies technical expertise to support Accenture’s legal department to identify, preserve, collect, process, search, review and produce electronically stored information that may be relevant to a civil, criminal, regulatory matter or internal investigation.

Protect the company from legal, financial and reputational risk by executing the processes and procedures of the company’s e-discovery program.  Manage e-discovery activities, schedule interviews and meetings, manage and support e-discovery tools, follow-up with custodians to complete required activities, track preservation and collection activities and provide status updates. Work closely with the Cyber Incident Response Team, Records, HR and other IT teams.  Manage external vendors.  Provide e-discovery support to members of Litigation, Internal Investigations and Employment Law Teams, as well as outside counsel, to develop and execute e-discovery plans.

Key Responsibilities: 

    • Manage and track the issuance of preservation notices
    • Follow-up with all levels of employees to ensure compliance with e-discovery activities
    • Audit compliance with internal processes (such as status reports, employee exit procedures, preservation notices, etc.)
    • Work with internal and external counsel to develop and manage e-discovery plans
    • Perform analysis and create both scheduled and ad hoc reports as requested
    • Respond to questions and issues submitted to the E-Discovery mailbox
    • Perform collection and processing tasks using various tools and procedures as directed by e-discovery team
    • Provide technical support to members of the legal team for various tools used by the team
    • Participate in activities to enhance the Electronic Discovery Program


Reports to: Director of Electronic Discovery                               


Internal Relationships: 

    • Provide support to internal Legal teams, including Litigation, Corporate Investigations and Employment Law teams
    • Work closely with IT, HR, Records and other internal teams

External Relationships: 

    • Work closely with outside counsel and e-discovery vendors to perform preservation, collection, processing and review activities

    • Limited travel required
  • Job Qualifications

Job Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

    • BS Degree in legal or technical field
    • Minimum of 2 years in litigation support or technical support role

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with M365 and Advanced Discovery
    • Experience with e-discovery processing and review tools
    • Experience managing document reviews
    • Forensics experience and/or credentials
    • Experience with MS Teams and associated applications

Professional Skills:

    • Excellent English (oral and written) communication skills
    • Poise and confidence to work with senior company executives and outside counsel
    • Project management skills
    • Ability to multi-task while working on both long and short-term projects
    • Technical aptitude to learn new tools and work with various IT teams
    • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
