We are looking for an exceptional lawyer to join the Privacy and Security Legal team to provide legal support to clients across Intel. Candidates will need to be great writers, communicators, and presenters. Candidates must be eager to work in teams and learn new areas of the law.
You will provide legal advice on matters such as business activities and processes, cross-border data transfers, data subject access requests, standard contractual clauses, regulatory filings and registrations, and data protection impact assessments. You will also focus on developing plans for compliance with emerging laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. Further, this Counsel will have the opportunity to work on impactful projects in the product security, cyber security, data, and Information Technology domains.
You will work closely and cross-functionally with engineers, government relations and policy experts, finance and accounting professionals, sales and marketing professionals, communications experts, and other attorneys. These are important matters and you can expect to have exposure to senior executives of the company.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and current state bar membership
3+ years of relevant legal experience for the role
Knowledge of privacy and data protection laws
Experience with any of the following: cybersecurity/product security, securities laws, consumer/marketing law, technology/intellectual property, as well as strong organizational and strategic acumen
In addition, the ideal candidate will have the following skills:

Strong presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding legal advice and drive forward projects that require strategic thinking combined with mastery of complex legal and technical principles
