Job Description

Husch Blackwell, a national law firm, has an immediate opening in its virtual office, The Link, for an Asbestos Talc Litigation Attorney/Counsel with five or more years of experience. The candidate should have experience with all stages of litigation and significant experience representing talc clients.  

The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure.  The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.  Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.  Candidates should have experience taking depositions, drafting discovery responses, preparing discovery productions, selecting experts, and general client and trial workup in the area of talc litigation.

Pursuant to Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the compensation range for this position in Denver only is $150,000 to $170,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus. In addition, employees receive a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, and vision.
