Morgan Lewis’ antitrust practice involves a broad range of antitrust matters globally. It currently represents clients in the largest and most prominent government and private litigation matters in the technology, pharma and financial services industries. It has an active merger and non-merger agency practice in the U.S., as well as in Asia and Europe. It has pending numerous private and government cartel investigations and litigations. The firm also actively counsels clients across the antitrust board on joint ventures, new industry and client initiatives that raise competitive issues, on distribution matters, and on general compliance programs.
The practice is cross-jurisdictional, with lawyers in Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Singapore, as well as in the U.S., with group members in Boston, Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Silicon Valley and Washington, DC. Qualified candidates will possess two to five years of transactional oriented antitrust experience. The ideal candidate would have significant antitrust transactional experience, including merger control filing analysis, HSR Act counsel and filing work, contract review and negotiation, and all aspects of DOJ/FTC/state AG merger investigations and Second Request compliance. Experience with other substantive antitrust compliance counseling work outside of the transactional area also valued.
Antitrust litigation skills are also welcome. We are seeking well-rounded and diverse candidates with excellent research and writing skills, academic performance, and ability to multi-task across matters and who have genuine enthusiasm for the subject matter. While the position is for residence in NY, the associate will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues throughout our offices in the United States, Europe and Asia.
