This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of legal professionals responsible for guiding T-Mobile’s compliance with laws and regulations governing participation in government programs and obligations around network experience (e.g., net neutrality).

What you’ll do in your role.

  • Lead T-Mobile’s compliance programs in the areas of government programs and network experience. 
  • Serve as lead attorney and trusted advisor to the enterprise in these complex specialty areas.
  • Manage and guide a small team of legal compliance professionals.
  • Engage and manage outside counsel relationships.
  • Advise enterprise stakeholders in assessing short-term tradeoffs in the context of broader strategic imperatives.
  • Elevate key issues to executives via succinct and compelling oral and written communications.
  • Drive departmental initiatives.

The experience you’ll bring.

  • 10+ years’ experience practicing as an attorney in house, with the government, or at a top law firm
  • 2+ years’ experience supervising others
  • Current bar membership (in good standing) in at least one U.S. state
  • JD from an accredited university with outstanding academic credentials
  • Experience with government programs preferred
  • Strong aptitude and enthusiasm for learning network technology required
  • Demonstrated ability to advise on highly complex, high-impact matters and navigate ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to establish self as subject matter expert in specialty field(s)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Keen, pragmatic business sense and good judgment
  • Ability to operate independently and effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
