T-Mobile’s National Security Compliance Office is seeking a driven, detail-oriented, proactive, consensus-building compliance professional who will coordinate the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary, cross-functional enterprise national security compliance projects to meet business-critical commitments to the US Government. This role will help develop, implement, and validate the operation of technical and process controls across multiple business functions and operational teams, ensuring a holistic and durable compliance framework to meet the requirements of T-Mobile’s national security commitments, rules, and regulations. The role will manage numerous ongoing and interrelated projects, driving efficiency and clarity for business partners as they launch new products and initiatives and compete for business.

What you’ll do in your role.

  • Act a subject matter expert for advising on national security compliance requirements in defined areas.
  • Drive enterprise-wide strategy for the delivery of technical and process controls to meet complex national security commitments, facilitating business-critical initiatives in a compliant manner.
  • Close engagement with business partners to embed compliance in the foundation of initiatives and product development, driving clarity and efficiency, and reducing time-to-market.
  • Works proactively, with limited direction, in an ambiguous environment, to build consensus among executives on complex compliance issues spanning organizations.
  • Delivers clear, concise and actionable advice to business partners.
  • Serve as a point of contact for interactions with T-Mobile leaders and internal governance processes for defined matters.
  • Oversee and coordinate development of official submissions to the US Government
  • Develop and implement compliance trainings.
  • Coordinating the preparation of official submissions to the government
  • Drives readiness for internal and external audits related to national security.

The experience you’ll bring.

  • 7+ years of experience in the telecommunications, audit, compliance, government, or security fields
  • Experience with data governance and data protection from a programmatic and technical perspective
  • Skill in driving alignment across multiple organizations and teams
  • Highly organized, with strong project management and coordination skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills and experience presenting to senior levels.
  • Experience with process, procedure and policy design, documentation, and implementation
  • Preferred:  working knowledge of T-Mobile-for-Government
  • T-Mobile requires U.S. citizenship for certain roles within the organization. This role requires U.S. citizenship. Individuals hired into this role will be required to submit documentation proving U.S. citizenship – failure to do so will result in termination.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years of age
