We are looking for out-of-this-world attorneys to join the legal team supporting Amazon’s Project Kuiper — an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Working closely with the Kuiper team and across Amazon, our stellar attorneys develop strategies at warp speed for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways, as well as build processes that address risk and allow Kuiper the flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology, enjoys being continually challenged, and demonstrates sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. Successful candidates will have strong written and oral communication skills, and be able to work independently while contributing successfully to cross-functional teams.
Our U.S.-based positions can be located in either Seattle/Redmond, WA (HQ1) or Arlington, VA (HQ2), but we also have open roles in London, UK, Sydney, Australia, and New Delhi, India. Some travel, domestic and international, will be required. No interplanetary travel is required at this time.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for these positions range from $105,200/year for Associate Corporate Counsel roles in our lowest geographic market up to $272,500/year in our highest geographic market for Senior Corporate Counsel roles. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
