Assistant or Associate Director of Financial Aid, School of Law
The University of Virginia School of Law seeks an Assistant or Associate Director of Financial Aid to join the Office of Financial Aid, Education and Planning. The Office of Financial Aid, Education, and Planning comprises a small yet formidable team of three. We are currently seeking to add an Assistant or Associate Director of Financial Aid to our ranks. As a dynamic and close-knit group, we’re committed to delivering exceptional service by equipping students with the financial knowledge and resources necessary to make informed decisions throughout their law school journeys.
The position will be filled at either the Assistant or Associate Director level depending on the candidate's education and experience and will report directly to the Assistant Dean of Financial Aid, Education and Planning. Either role is a non-supervisory position that presents an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to enhance their financial aid expertise within a growth-oriented department. The position requires most work to be performed in person at the Law School, with the opportunity to perform a limited amount of work remotely in accordance with Law School policy.

Additional Minimum Experience:
Experience with PeopleSoft, ImageNow, and Department of Education web applications is highly preferred.
Salary for either role will depend on the candidate’s qualifications (experience, education, and skills) and internal and market factors. The anticipated hiring range is $ 58,656 to $80,000 per year.
This is a full-time University Staff Managerial and Professional staff position with benefits. This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs.
This position requires most work to be performed in person at the Law School, with the opportunity to perform a limited amount of work remotely in accordance with Law School policy.
