ensuring they receive fair treatment and access to justice. We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented and experienced Pro-Immigrant Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Times Square, NYC. 

Job Summary: The bilingual Pro-Immigrant Attorney will provide legal representation, advice, and support to our clients facing various legal challenges. This role involves working closely with clients to navigate immigration laws, represent them in court proceedings, and advocate for their rights. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to social justice, excellent legal skills, and a deep understanding of the complexities of immigration law. 

Key Responsibilities: 

● Preparing and filing various immigration applications and petitions, including but not limited to family-based petitions, employment-based visas, asylum applications, U-Visa, VAWA, and naturalization petitions. 

● Prepare and review legal documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with immigration regulations, as well as policies and procedures from the firm. 

● Manage and maintain case files, including tracking deadlines and ensuring timely submission of cases. 

● Communicate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to gather information, respond to inquiries, and provide updates on case status. 

● Conduct client intakes and gather necessary documentation for immigration filings.

● Legal representation in immigration hearings and interviews, including drafting briefs and supporting documents (Cancelation of Removal). 

● Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy to advise attorneys and clients accordingly. 

Qualifications: 

● Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 

● Active membership in the New York State Bar Association. 

● Minimum of three years of experience practicing immigration law, with a strong focus on immigrant advocacy work is preferred. 

● In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures. 

● Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills. 

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. 

● Demonstrated commitment to social justice and advocacy for immigrant rights.

Compensation: 

● Competitive salary commensurate with experience. (Range $90-$120K)

● Salary review after one year.
