JOB TITLE: HR Consultant and Senior Attorney

 

LOCATION:  Remote within Florida

 

Engage PEO, recognized on the ‘INC. 5000 Honor Roll for the Fastest Growing Private Companies’ is seeking future Engagers who are ready to build a rewarding future.  Our opening for a HR Consultant and Senior Attorney is available now, but it won’t last long!  This full-time exempt position will be a part of the Remarkable HR Legal Team to build relationships with business clients to provide strategic guidance on employee relations, human resources, and compliance.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

In this client-facing role, you will:

·         Work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment with daily client interaction

·         Serve as the primary HR partner to business clients regarding employee relations, human resources, and compliance issues

·         Build relationships with clients and deliver tailored HR solutions that align with clients’ business goals

·         Develop policies, procedures, and agreements for a variety of human resources and employment-related issues

·         Anticipate and mitigate HR compliance risks as they pertain to employment matters

·         Conduct discrimination and harassment investigations

·         Research and draft employment law updates to keep clients informed of changes

·         Respond to Agency Charges, mediation, and other pre-litigation demands

·         Assist with oversight of employment litigation matters, including management of EPLI panel counsel

·         Travel domestically as needed

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

Requirements:

·         Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

·         Admission to the Florida State Bar with good standing

·         Human Resources and employment law experience in Florida

·         Strong employment law research and writing skills

·         Exceptional interpersonal and consulting abilities

·         Analytical, verbal, and written communication skills

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

·         Ability to prioritize tasks and execute deliverables in a dynamic environment

·         Work effectively in a team environment and individually, remotely and in person

·         Adapts to innovative changes and process improvements

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Three (3) or more years of employment litigation experience

·         Experience with Florida and multistate employment laws

·         Familiarity with employment-related audits and agency responses

·         Proficiency in Spanish to support our diverse clientele

·         Professional Employer Organization (PEO) experience is a plus

The salary range targeted for this position is listed below. However, you should know that the pay rate may vary based on regional location, the candidate’s skill, and relevant experience. In addition, some positions may include a form of bonus or other incentive compensation, which would not be included in this salary range.

 

Salary Range:   $110,000 – $125,000
