The Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Global Commercialization and Franchise Strategy (“VP/AGC, Commercial”) is a key business partner and a member of the seven-member legal and corporate affairs management team, reporting directly to the General Counsel. The VP/AGC, Commercial will provide strategic oversight to Jazz’s franchise and market asset legal teams and regional attorneys, managing a growing global team of 10 highly skilled attorneys.
Jazz Pharmaceuticals is a publicly traded global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing medicines for people with serious diseases. Jazz has a diverse portfolio of marketed medicines and novel product candidates, from early to late-stage development, in key therapeutic areas.
A competitive compensation package, consisting of a base salary, bonus and equity, will be offered for this position, consistent with the candidate’s level of experience.
The ideal candidate will have advanced to expert skill level experience (gained through at least 8+ years of legal practice) providing in-house support, advising multinational/global pharmaceutical companies, with a strong understanding of legal department operations and technology. Proven experience building, managing and developing high-performing multi-faceted teams is required. A strong background in the commercialization of pharmaceutical products in the U.S. and globally is required.
Licensed to practice in any U.S. State or the District of Columbia and eligible for an in-house certification.
This is a nationwide search. Candidates can be located in Philadelphia, PA or Palo Alto, CA. A remote work environment will be considered for exceptional candidates.
