People in the Corporate Function contribute to the running of Accenture as a high- performance business through specialization within a specific functional area, and grow into internally focused roles by deepening their skills and/or developing new skills within an internal functional area.

Legal and Commercial Services professionals deliver and coordinate legal, contract and commercial advice and counsel in support of Accenture's or our clients' business, working to manage and mitigate risk and ensure ethical behavior and compliance with laws and company policies.      

Job Summary:

Basic Qualifications:

  • JD degree or equivalent degree or legal qualification.

  • Admitted to the bar (or local equivalent) and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law.

  • A minimum of 6 years’ legal experience of relevant attorney work, including:   Understanding of legal issues related to bringing new assets and offerings to market in a legally compliant manner, including pragmatic risk management

​Preferred Qualifications

  • It is preferred that candidates would have in-house experience

  • A Common Law qualification is preferred.

  • Be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite of products; and

  • Be proficient at speaking English.

  • Risk analysis, appreciation and management

Professional Skills:

  • Be able to work creatively in a problem-solving environment

  • Have strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills

  • Have a pragmatic and practical approach to legal advice and legal support

  • Be able to explain legal issues and the real-world impact of the issues in a way that is understood by non-lawyers

  • Have good negotiation skills, including internally within the company and with customers or suppliers as required.

  • Apply good judgment, an ability to analyse, prioritize and make decisions, and spot and mitigate risks

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, if you are located in Colorado, the expected salary range for this role is $165,200 - $250,999
