Job Description

The digital health market is experiencing rapid innovation.  The Walmart Health & Wellness Legal Team is seeking a motivated and highly capable attorney to partner with business and compliance leadership on the strategic expansion of virtual healthcare services for the world’s largest company.  This Senior Counsel role is critical to Walmart’s telehealth and digital health initiatives.  You will provide legal guidance for the strategic expansion of Walmart’s telehealth initiatives, operations, transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and collaborate with cross functional teams to mitigate legal and compliance risks.

You’ll make an impact by...

  • Developing best practices and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations governing telehealth and digital health.

  • Providing legal counsel on a wide array of issues, including fraud and abuse laws, corporate practice of medicine, national telehealth professional standards, licensure requirements, FDA mobile medical app and medical device standards, FTC issues for mobile apps and online health programs, transactional issues, privacy and security, and other relevant state and federal laws and regulations. 

  • Successfully collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

  • You have experience with government regulatory agencies

  • You have strong communication skills and experience with senior leadership and stakeholders

  • You have enjoyed success working on cross-functional teams within a corporate environment
