The Exoneration Project (EP) investigates and litigates post-conviction cases with the goal of exonerating the wrongfully convicted and freeing them from unjust imprisonment. The EP has a unique, collaborative structure: it operates as a clinic at the University of Chicago Law School and is staffed with attorneys from the civil rights law firm Loevy & Loevy, as well EP attorneys. It is one of the best-funded, largest, and most successful innocence projects in the country.
